The Goochland Community Partners consists of a group of members who meet regularly to "collaboratively assess and meet the needs of the community in order to enhance human services and the quality of life for the citizens of Goochland". The group seeks to accomplish that goal by developing a strong network of human service agencies and systems, increasing the flow of information, providing opportunities for citizens of Goochland to achieve well-being, and serving as an advisory committee and collaborative community voice for human service affairs to the Goochland government administration. Membership in the Goochland Community Partners is open to all health and human service organizations, businesses, schools, government agencies and citizens interested in the human service needs of Goochland County residents.
