The Board of Zoning Appeals consists of five citizens appointed by the Circuit Court to hear cases concerning variances form the County zoning ordinance as well as hearing appeals of ruling of the zoning administration. The Board meets on an as-needed basis and is supported by the Planning & Zoning component of the Department of Community Development.
