The Parks and Recreation Department serves the needs of a growing population with a variety of recreational, social, and cultural activities that build community pride, enhances the quality of life and encourages healthy lifestyles for Goochland County residents. There are a variety of recreational opportunities for all ages through athletics, fitness, camps, cultural classes, special programs, trips, and seasonal events. Hidden Rock Park: Centrally located in Goochland County, Hidden Rock Park is a multi-use facility with a basketball court, sand volleyball area, playground, soccer area, baseball/softball fields, public restrooms, concession area and walking trail.
