J. SARGEANT REYNOLDS COMMUNITY COLLEGE WESTERN CAMPUS J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College (western campus) is located in the Courthouse area of Goochland on a 100 acre tract. The highly specialized programs are in agricultural and mechanical academics. These specialized programs are as follows: Automotive Technology, Diesel Mechanics Technology, Equine Management, Floral Design, Horticulture and Welding. The campus also offers general education courses in English, math, history, business management and administration and information systems technology, liberal arts, business administration and management degree programs.
In 2000 a new 45,700 square foot addition was opened. This facility includes a student center, new library facilities, science/computer laboratories, a compressed video television studio, *additional general education courses, and additional classroom and meeting facilities for community residents, and athletic/recreational facilities already available to the public.
