Administration

The administrative staff is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Sheriff's Office.

Some of the staff's duties include:
  • Scheduling training for all Sheriff's Office personnel
  • Researching and applying for grants
  • Implementation and revisions of Departmental policies
  • Supervising the Goochland County Sheriff's Office
  • Communications Department with 10 dispatchers
  • Supervising Juvenile General District and Circuit Courts with inmate transportation
  • Supervising part time court officers
  • Administrating the testing and hiring process for Deputies, Communications Officers, and office staff Overseeing all general office functions
  • Coordinating all special assignment activities for patrol personnel
